Cumberland High School has been drawn in the Gallipoli 2015 School Tour ballot and we now have the opportunity to send four students and one teacher to the Anzac Day Dawn Service Commemorations at Gallipoli in April 2015.
Students who will be in Year 10, 11 and 12 in 2015 have the opportunity to create a written or visual piece addressing one of the Centenary of Anzac topics. This can be in a range of media. Work must be submitted by October 8. After shortlisting, interviews of students will follow. The Selection Panel will have a minimum of five members and will include the Principal, the local State Member of Parliament (MP) and a Returned and Services League (RSL) NSW representative as well as a P&C representative and the teacher going to Gallipoli.
What an extraordinary opportunity for Cumberland High School!
Further details and application forms are available here: Application Form (pdf 540 KB)
