Twice a year our talented students set off on Band Tour. The Cumberland High School ensembles perform a free, one hour concert for our local primary schools. As part of the Winter Band Tour we visited: Rydalmere Public School, Rydalmere East Public School, Parramatta North Public School, Dundas Public School, Ermington West Public School & Burnside Public School.
Over 60 Cumberland High School students represented our school on the Winter Band Tour. All of our ensembles performed: Concert Band, String Ensemble, Junior Rock Band, Rock Band, Senior Rock Band and the Vocal Ensemble. Some of the highlights of the show were 'Let It Go' from Frozen, a Grease Medley, 'Viva La Vida' by Cold Play, 'Eye Of The Tiger' and 'Under the Sea' from the Little Mermaid.
The audiences at our local schools were absolutely fantastic! They sang, danced and clapped their way through the show. We look forward to vising more of our local Primary Schools on our Summer Band Tour.
