I’m excited to welcome you to the Cumberland High School learning community, where we create a supportive environment for every child to thrive. Our core values are respect, responsibility and excellence.
As a team of dedicated students, staff and families, we’re proud of the work we do in public education. Together, we ensure students feel valued and inspired to learn.
Students at our school are known as individuals. They are actively involved in the design of learning, academic and wellbeing goals. Achievement of these goals is supported by high quality teaching and committed staff who are strong advocates for our students. A strong extra-curricular program also supports student growth and attainment.
As a diverse community, we welcome and celebrate the achievements of our students from Language Backgrounds other than English, high potential and gifted learners, students with additional learning needs and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students. Our diverse learning community supports and works with each other to ensure all students have the skills and capabilities to succeed in and beyond school.
