Year 7 Camp

Our adventurous Year 7 students packed their bags and set off for an unforgettable three days at the Great Aussie Bush Camp! From the moment they arrived, they dove into action-packed activities— tackling the legendary Mud Run (a.k.a. Lost Island), paddling through canoeing challenges, conquering heights in abseiling and rock climbing, testing their aim in archery, and braving the high ropes with determination.

Throughout camp, Year 7 proved to be truly remarkable, showing strength, resilience, and kindness as they cheered each other on through the toughest challenges (yes, we’re looking at you, Mud Run!).

Band Together Festival

On Wednesday the 18th of June, the Concert Band had the immense privilege of performing in the Band Together Festival at Riverside Theatre. The festival was run by School Bands Australia (SBA) and the Band Together Foundation. The event featured school bands from across greater Sydney, offering students a platform to showcase their talents and engage with the community.

This was a very fitting result for the 50^th anniversary

2025 Twilight Showcase

On Thursday the 7th of August, the Faculty of Arts held the 2025 Twilight Showcase which was met with great success. The showcase started with a display of artworks from Visuals Arts, Photography and Japanese. This was followed by a concert in the COLA, which featured various performances from the Music Ensembles and Year 12 Music 1 students.

Wauchope 2025

We took 97 students to Wauchope to compete in the 50th inter-school sporting competition. The event is always very exciting and one that celebrates community connection with Wauchope students and staff.

Our students played in over twenty different events, which they all did with class and sportsmanship. After three days of close sporting competition, the final score was Cumberland 26 - Wauchope 26. The third ever draw between the two schools. This was a very fitting result for the 50^th anniversary.
